William Robi - Penmanship

Get ready to digest some heavy shit when you listen to William Robi’s penmanship.  William Robi is also known as Charles William Robinson, Jr., or CJ.  Political (newscaster) samples pervade several tracks and spoken word interludes separate some tunes, like in “Allegiance.”  Robi collaborated with James Dangle of Just Plain Sounds, so Dangle makes a couple guest appearances.  “Church Hill” is some speedy verse-spittin’ with some old school hip hop beats.  Be careful if you listen to “[C.OA.C.A]” though, because that shit reads like the Bible’s Song of Songs or -Solomon with its explicit first-person erotic narrative.
