Strike Anywhere - “Extinguish”

Amp Magazine is hosting a giveaway and streaming the first single from the upcoming acoustic album by Strike Anywhere! 

In Defiance of Empty Times will come out on 8/28.  One side was recorded in Rochester (Side Rochester) as an acoustic set, and the other side was recorded in Richmond for the Occupy Benefit Show. 

You can enter to win a package of the new CD and tshirt at Amp.

Strike Anywhere will be at the Gwar-B-Que on 8/18.

Billy the Kid - “Alison”

Billy (Vancouver) is coming to the Camel on Thursday (9/15) w/:

Strike Anywhere (acoustic) and Rob Huddleston (Inquisition, Ann Beretta)

Billy recorded at Sound of Music Studios over the summer and now she’s on tour.

“This Thursday from 8:00-10:00pm there will be a special acoustic performance of Strike Anywhere songs with Mark and Thomas. Proceeds will be donated to the Richmond branch of the IWW. With Rob Huddleston (Foundation Band, Ann Beretta, Inquisition) and Billy The Kid from Vancouver BC. $6 at the door. Come out and sing songs of Solidarity and support local and international labor.”
